Nearly 35 million children in the U.S. are living with psychological and emotional trauma caused by any number of adverse experiences including abuse, neglect, and familial instability. Many of these children are of school age elevating the importance of better equipping the adults in the school community to recognize and respond to those who have been impacted by traumatic stress.
