A new member of the Awesome Foundation family, we were elated to learn they were stewing up ways to support those affected by Hurricane Sandy.
The Goals:
+ Impact: support as many people as possible, as soon as possible
+ Agility: get funds to people who have been waiting
+ Adaptability: build a new model for the awesome community
The Result:
Awesome Sandy Rebuild is a new chapter of the Awesome Foundation. By giving multiple $500 grants each month, matched by other Awesome Chapters around the world, Awesome Sandy Rebuild is working to continue the momentum of powerful community-led efforts that emerged post-Sandy.
