Yes, even in 2016 discussion around mental health, addiction, and gender and sexual identity is limited. Enter WILDERNESS — a new multimedia documentary theater piece that puts therapy and life’s vulnerabilities center stage.
Through this play less talked-about issues are placed in the limelight to correct misconceptions, raise awareness, and give them some (non-judgmental) attention. WILDERNESS openly explores narratives around therapy and life’s vulnerabilities, without stigma or fear, inspiring dialogue and debate around the realities of our time. Now that’s fair play (get it?).
Chances are the play will inspire you to seek support for yourself or a loved one. So the Awesome Without Borders grant will support the production of reference materials for the audience to take home.
