Grant #28

China’s Magic Hospital

August 26, 2013

The magic of the circus works its wonder for over 5,000 sick children each year in Beijing hospitals.

Thanks to an organization called Magic Hospital, pediatric unit patients still have access to fun and adventure through programs featuring clowns, arts, storytelling, wish granting, music, and recreation.

With this AWB grant, Magic Hospital will support a number of the clowns and artists — who teach and/or perform juggling, balloon animal creation, magic tricks, origami, painting and handicraft activities to the kids — for one month. And during that month, the theme of all programs will be none other than “AWESOME“!

Learn more about the Magic Hospital via the website and Facebook page, then visit our Awesome Foundation chapter page and apply to fund some awesome of your own!
