The Titwrench Festival has been bringing smiles — and a sense of belonging — since 2009, creating space for the artistic expression of women and people who identify as LGBTQI or A. The multi-day exploration of music, film, and performance puts an emphasis on inclusivity all while pushing the boundaries on artistic genre and form. Now, the Denver-based collective of emerging and established artists behind this feminist friendly festival is pushing its geographic boundaries and crossing the pond (and the North Sea) to bring the event to Stockholm, Sweden. Awesome Without Borders is helping to foster the fun and progressive thought and ideas by sponsoring various workshops in the Scandinavian country’s capital. Can’t make it?
