A bad*ss group of women banded together, and just like that, a platform for the (un)scene was born.
When Cameron Russell’s TEDx talk about luck, legacy, and media access went viral, a discussion about women in mass media ensued. Encouraged by the momentum of such a critical and long overdue conversation, a bad*ss group of women banded together and INTERRUPT magazine was born.
A platform for the (un)scene. INTERRUPT is an experiment in participation, and an open call to conscious troublemakers, creative instigators, teenagers, women, radicals, conservatives, prudes, introverts, dorks, and geniuses. With unruly alternatives and incendiary attitudes welcome!
NOW IS YOUR CHANCE TO CREATE YOUR OWN MASS MEDIA.
Tweet, photograph, paint, film, research, and write until the media breaks open, all the while connecting with creative professionals who can make your work and your story stand out!
